《摩登家庭》：一半开怀大笑，一半脉脉温情 | 灵感手抄本

十一年，十一季。《摩登家庭》这部长寿美剧，终于在昨天迎来了大结局。

我们怅然若失，仿佛不是一部剧的终结，而是真的与自己熟悉并深爱着的一家人永远地告别。

来看看这个大家族：家里的大家长、年过花甲的爷爷和带着孩子的拉丁裔美女组成了国际忘年恋家庭，妻子的年龄甚至比女儿还要小；儿子是gay，和自己的同性爱人收养了一个古灵精怪的越南裔女儿；甚至看起来最“正常”的女儿一家，分别教育出了在学校风生水起的大姐大、机敏刻薄的天才学霸，还有会把脑袋卡在栏杆里的傻小子……这都啥家庭啊。

但由三个“问题家庭”组成的大家族，却成为了多少人大洋彼岸的亲戚。虽然设定足够drama，但每个角色都是如此真实而普通，所有的悲喜，无非来自琐碎的日常。各种性格、各种肤色、各种国籍的人聚集在这个家庭里，并未生硬地摩擦，而是产生了奇妙的化学反应。

我们看着他们开怀大笑，但又为之动容。每一集，不管闹得多么鸡飞狗跳，主角们最终都会带着眼泪和微笑回到家人身边，然后在这个充满包容、理解和尊重的大家庭里，得到最终的慰藉。

虽然看似俗套而普通，但每每看到这样的场景，还是会有难以抑制的暖流在心中汹涌，滚烫而熨帖。

爱和家的样子，就是这样的吧。

68年我在理发店扫头发的时候，我曾幻想今后自己家庭的样子，如果够走运的话，有一天我会坐拥完美的妻子，完美的孩子。结果呢？我没那运气，最后捞到这么一群二货，可我每天都对此充满感激。

back in ’68, when i was sweeping up hair in that barbershop, i had this mental picture of the family that, if I was lucky enough, one day I would end up with perfect wife, perfect kids. Guess what, I didn't get any of that. wound up with this sorry bunch. And I'm thankful for that every day.

Phil：“可能感情不和，也可能经济问题，还可能跟年轻的盖子跑了。”

-How could we don't have the same number of containers and lids? why would they ever get separated?

-Built-up resentment, money issues, met a younger lid.

有时候你会经历被众人围绕着，却仍然觉得十分孤独的时刻。你只想回到家人身边汲取安慰，但有时即使是家人都无法给你这种安慰，因为其实他们也会遭遇和你一样的孤独。

Somethimes, you have one of those days where you are surrounded by people, but you still feel pretty lonely. All you want to do is go home to the comfort. But sometimes, even your family can't give you that comfort. Because it turns out they've all had one of those days, too.

为什么梵高会创作《星空》这幅画呢？或许是因为天空很美丽，每个人都喜欢仰望星空，这提醒我们那里有东西在时刻盯着我们……是外星人，他们可以瞬间到达地球，把我们溶解成液体变成燃料，醒醒吧全人类，下一个就是我们。

Why did he paint The Starry Night? Maybe because the sky is beautiful, and everybody likes looking at it, and it reminds us that something’s up there watching over all of us……aliens ,who could be here in a second to liquefy us and use us as fuel .So wake up people we're next.

- Um, dad? We haven't had lunch yet.

- Neither have half the kids in Africa.

It's scary to let people see the real you, even when those people are your own family. But aren't they the one who will love us without judging, who forgive our faults and celebrate our imperfections? Maybe even encourage us to let our true selves shine through?

-Maybe Alex doesn't want to compete with her big sister. Maybe she's trying to create her own identity. Put her in a dress and she disappears.

-For one afternoon.

-I wouldn't give up being myself for even one second.

We do strange things for the people we love. We lie to them, we lie for them. There may be some bumps along the way, but we never stop waiting the best for them. That’s what makes it such a tough job. Kind of the best job in the world.

There are dreamers and there are realists in this world, but more ofter than not, the opposite is ture. You see, the dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists, well, without the dreamers, they mignt not ever get off the ground.

That's the funny thing about marriage, You fall in love with this…extraordinary person, and overtime, they begin to seem ordinary.

No one knows this, but for the first year of his life, I made up Manny like a girl and told everybody that he was my daughter. Ay, but just for a few times. I didn't want to mess with his head. When he found the pictures, I told him that it was his twin sister who died.
